Q: Why is there a
$10.00 dollar limit on our shopping cart?
Answer:
The Soap Goat Soap strives to keep our prices low for you, the consumer.
We pride ourselves on rock bottom sale's and fantastic co-ops, not to mention already low low regular pricing.
Unfortunately the one thing we can not control is the high cost of USPS shipping and handling.
With many clients asking why their products totaled more then the shipping price, we had to set a shopping cart price limit. We did not want to see the shipping exceeding the order total. To the client, it looks as though the low cost of the items were just not worth the added expense to ship.
With the raise in USPS shipping costs, the minimum order requirement was brought in to effect as we have found the cost of insurance, confirmation along with the USPS shipping fees and handling charges, more then not, total more in value than that of items ordered. Our shipping cost generally start's at
$5.90 American (up to and including 1 lb USPS Priority Mail), and goes upward as the weight progresses higher - shipping, insurance, confirmation and our handling fee.
As some clients have already seen on their package postal charge stamps, the cart pricing can be very wrong - which is more then not, at a benefit to YOU, the client. Most cases show our automated shopping cart shipping cost is very much lower then the actual shipping and handling costs...thus TSGSS pays out of our own pocket for this.
We pride ourselves for our extremely fast shipping, for our fantastic customer service; the minimum order amount has been instituted to allow staff to fill orders, print invoicing and prepare USA Customs Manifests that we must show the border crossing guards, also for shipping in a timely manner and to keep over head costs down. As well we are striving to keep our soap making supplies at the lowest costing prices we can, and pump the savings back for YOU, our valued clients.
Prices and availability of any item posted on our website are subject to
change without notice. Although we update this web site daily, sales can
sometimes outpace the updates, and on rare occasions we may sell out of
an item before your order is received. If this happens, your order will
be adjusted accordingly.
Our shopping cart limit is a low $10.00 U.S. funds.
